Dear CUPE health care members,
Unfortunately, an issue arose with the voting on the most recent tentative agreement, whereby the votes in some areas were not able to be properly categorized between facility support and community support members.
This means members who cast a ballot will have to confirm through new ballots their intent at the Riverview Health Centre, and Southern Health-Sante Sud only. This is to ensure that the integrity and result of the vote is upheld. This may cause a delay in releasing results in the WRHA and Shared Health. We will release this information as it comes.
The Northern Regional Health Authority results will be released, as the outcome of their vote is clear.
We will be reaching out to the members at Riverview Health Centre and Southern Health-Sante Sud who voted, so they can confirm their vote through a secret ballot.
